Our harbour highlights include the ever-popular Ferrython races and a 21-gun salute followed by an aerial display by F/A-18 Hornets from the Royal Australian Air Force. At 1.00pm Sydney's Tall Ships lead a fleet of historic vessels from Bradley's Head to the Harbour Bridge, and the 181th Australia Day Regatta, the world’s oldest continuously conducted annual sailing event, turns the harbour into an aquatic spectacle from 1.30pm.

Vivid Sydney is an annual outdoor lighting festival with immersive light installations and projections in Sydney. This winter event takes place in central Sydney over the course of three weeks from the 26th of May till the 17th of June. The centrepiece of Vivid Sydney is the light sculptures, multimedia interactive work and building projections that transform various buildings and landmarks such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in and around Sydney Harbour.
